We believe that the transition stage from toddler to preschool is an incredible opportunity to instill confidence and individuality in children and gives them a head start early in life.
The Little Acorns provides children with access to a wide range of activities and learning methods. We build construction skills, imagination and creativity skills and learning skills through access to books, construction play and imaginative play.
Child-led play is encouraged to build independent mindsets that instill courage and confidence in children. We continuously observe the progress and development of the children to tailor their learning experiences to their strengths and to build on areas for growth.
We are dedicated to ensuring that the transition from toddler to preschool is constructive and valuable. Children go on to the Great Oaks room with confidence and a positive outlook.
The Little Acorns room has capacity for up to 25 children and is designed to nurture children through the crucial stage of toddler to preschool. We provide healthy meals cooked on-site by our in-house cook. In the Little Acorns, we use the Pre-Birth to Three educational program.
Our education and learning environment is tailored to instill in children their own sense of individuality and to promote their relationships with others. This ensures that children are able to build healthy and loving relationships throughout their lives.
We focus on the Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) principles, by which children learn the foundations of respect, dignity and their own and other's rights.
These principles create strong and emotionally capable minds.
